Hey yesterday we got to have a long sleep in and woke up to a delicious breakfast. Then we had a lesson with Tim Bagely - a comedian who has guest starred on a few shows - for impro lessons which were really good. An American actress Chandler who is from New Jersey met us there who will be staying with us for the rest of our trip. Afterwards we got to shop on The Beverly centre and everything was so cheap but we didn't get to shop for long :( Got a cheap necklace and underwear... Anyway after we got ready for an industry party held at the mansion. It went for a few hours and a few stars like Stephanie Mcantosh, people from neighbours, actors and actresses from L.a, directors, producers, acting coaches and more were there. It was great to talk to them all although it was pretty nerve racking. Went to bed early that night, was very tired.

Today we woke up early for our training sesh with P.J, he made us run up the Hollywood Hills track which was so hard because the sun was beating down the whole time. Only some of us made it to the top but it was worth it for the amazing view - we could see our mansion and the Hollywood sign. After that we slowly jogged down and ate a massive brekky. We chilled around the pool for a while then a few guest starts came around. Our acting coach Margie brought the stars from Wizards of Waverly Place :) lucky us, a few older male actors and a young girl who is an up and coming star. It really just makes me want to come back to America and do what they're doing. They gave us some great advice so ya never know... anyway after that we had a sushi challenge ( making sushi using our own ingridients as well as presenting it well. Our team came second which was awesome, but unfortunately not first.. oh well. Then we did our video diaries and now were just chilling and soon we will go to bed for our big day tomorrow.

I'm missing everyone so much :( See you soon xx

First day

Hey today I arrived at around 7:00am at L.A airport after a very long and tiring flight, and I feel like i never want to see another plane again. Once we got off the plane we met up with Lilly (the casting director and organiser) who took us to our the place we are staying in the Hollywood Hills. It took a while to get there but it was worth it because it is so beautiful :) It has the nicest views and really captures the Hollywood experience. I sort of never want to leave.

As we were unpacking I realised that I had taken somebody elses suitcase and I had no idea where mine was. Luckily Lilly came to the rescue and rang up the airport to find out if it was still there... luckily it was and we ended up having to drive all the way back up there to get it and bring back the one i had taken. After that mishap we had a nap, relaxed, unpacked and then got ready to go out for lunch. We walked along the walk of fame and ate at a famous fries and burger shop. We then got to sit and watch a live recording an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place with Selena Gomez in it, she basically walked right past us. Then we came home, ate a quick dinner and now here I am typing this. I have been awake since I left on the 17th (australian time) of september which has been enough for me to eat 2 dinners, 2 lunches and 2 breakfasts. Tomorrow we start our first lessons and get to do some shopping! I am off to bed now.

Talk to you soon :) xxx

First Post!!

Ok I just signed up for this blog and I hope I do keep posting on it, but while I am in L.A my aim is to keep an online diary about what I've been up to, for friends and family back in Australia (and hopefully include some pictures and videos). I cannot wait to leave and I am so excited about the experience!

I will be leaving on the 17th of September (last day of school term) at 5:45 in the morning from Melbourne airport, catching a plane to Brisbane which takes 2 hours to get there, and then catching a 12 hour plane to land in L.A, then heading straight to Hollywood! Wow I don't know how I'm going to last that long, but it'll definitely be worth it once I get there.

Keep on checking for more updates! Em xx
